I’m Back…..!
Helloooo World!!!!!
I’m back by popular demand! My friend Luke thought it was time for me to update my blog. My last update was almost a year ago…yikes! A lot has changed..I moved to the North Island, have a new job, and a completely different lifestyle from Queenstown. Desa and I live at her cute cottage which is right across from Napier Harbor. We even wear lifejackets walking around the pier as a precautionary measure. There has been no incidents as of today and thankfully there isn’t any rope swings. Today I finally received my birthday package from my mom. She made me some leg warmers and got me a little travel buddy.
My broken left foot is fully recovered and I’ve started to run again last week. I’m hoping to do a 10k or half marathon in January before I leave New Zealand. Other than that, I’m working lots and saving for a trip to FIJI on my route home. I’m jealous that Sunshine Village is open today, hopefully I’ll be back in the snow in February! xx

I’m finally in New Sealand…I mean New Zealand. I left Canada this past Sunday, and arrived to New Zealand on the Tuesday. The flight from Toronto to LAX was pretty exciting, I saw Eugene Levy and Jason Preisely in first class. I’ve had a crush on Jason for some time now. This past summer Jason was attending a golf tournament at the hotel I use to work at, and never had the chance to see him. LAX is a horrible airport which doesn’t have free WiFi. Common on…. we are in the 21st century and at one of the busiest airports with out any WiFi. I was very disappointed since I couldn’t play my WeRule game. My aunt isn’t going to be a happy camper this week since no where has FREE WIFI! It just makes me upset just talking about it. I waited in the airport for 5 hours, and I felt like I was in a Zoo..with sercurity trying to hurdle us in the lines. While, waiting at the airport I went to this restaurant and had a little greasy cheese pizza..and horrible customer service..the lady was so rude. I feel like writing a letter, but by doing that I’m just waiting my 5 mins to write this blog..haha…Turns out my flight from LAX to Fiji was in this 80’s airplane and I had to sit in the middle between a man and this young lady from England..As, you might know I fall asleep to everything..so as soon as the plane took off I was fast asleep to be awoken to spicy veggies and rice at 11pm. I was not hungry, so I gave my meal to another man. I slept from 10pm to 4am, than got served breakfast at 430am. My breakfast again..contained of spicy vegetables and rice. What’s with that? We landed into FIJI at 530am, than had to wait a hour to check into our flights and go through security. Its was annoying… after I got past security..the lady took my mouthwash, since my plastic bag didn’t close all the way. I don’t understand, how I got passed American & Canadian security with my plastic bag..and this women wouldn’t allow it.. All I wanted to do is wash my mouth..o well….I had some hope that perhaps, the airport in Fiji would have FREE WiFi, but…nope. They wanted like $15 for like half a hour..some ridiculous amount of cash. Got on my plane at 7am and had a pretty good breakfast …which conceited of papaya, mango, yogurt, juice, tea, muffin, and this cinnamon roll..yum yum. Wow this post is getting long….and I’m only at the airplane. I got to speed this up..since I’m falling asleep..its 8:34pm on a Saturday..and I got some sun burn from the park. Here’s the deal, most people think I’m american ..since I have the north american accent. Lol I’m looking at a place tomorrow..its shared which I don’t mind. I hope I get a cool roommate like Kinga that would be sweet. Oh, Yes! When I arrived into Christchurch..i stayed at cool hostel with really nice people from all over the world. Sometimes, I wish I stayed longer there and kept contact with friends I’ve made there. I guess its a lesson learnt..o yah..this is where I was leading to.this irish fella and I were just chatting at night at felt an aftershock..mag 2.1 we were very excited, and we decided to clap after it happen. It was cool, but not as cool as being awaken to 5.1 earthquake at 6:12am. I just remember this girl in my room just starring at me from across the room. The quake was like 20 seconds long, but one memory that will last forever. I’m currently, in Queenstown staying at the YHA sharing a room with 7 others..its pretty cozy. But, I should go..I’m going to have a drink down my lake.

Okay …Here’s the newest news! …
Currently, I’m living in Queenstown, I found myself a place with 11 other people. I don’t share a room at the moment but by the end of Feb there is this Canadian man who is training to be a snowboard instructor going to be sharing this humble of joy room with me. Its quite small, he has the bunk bed, and I have the single bed on the other side of the room with a big dresser! All my clothes seem to fit into it.

tick tick tick!…
I’m back, ..I thought I would continue my blog since, I’m moving to NEW ZEALAND in 10 days! Yahhh! I just made myself a coffee/hot chocolate ..and I put some baileys in as well! mmmmmmmmm!! I thought this coffee would give me motivation to clean my room..hahaha I stumbled upon my computer and thought..I should restart my blog..so here I am!
my room is a mess, and I don’t know what to pack.. UGH! So, today is the day to clean and my room and organize my life into a suitcase. I feel like my life is a dream sometimes. I don’t know where New Zealand will take me. I’m actually scared shit less about moving across the world for the unknown.
Today, as I walking around pier one with my mom looking at things and thinking o that will be nice for my house etc..but I don’t have a house..hahah I’m a nomad! I will soon have a home in 2 weeks. The thing I’m getting sad about is all the tv shows that I’m going to miss…

I just downloaded 127 hours so I’m depicting on watching it now, or starting on the war zone that I created months ago.. decisions decisions! I guess I should start cleaning, since I will be having over night guests tomorrow night 😉 haha You know who you are!
my brother is actually upset at me since, my party tomorrow night isn’t at home, but at my friends house. ooo brother..I am so glad I just have him. haha
WELL, I’m going to go …I really want to find this earing I bought last week, that I’ve lost already! So, if your bored and like to clean..my door is always open 🙂

shopping is always good. i’m currently online looking for a duffel bag with wheels, snowboard bag, and also shopping for winter pants, and possibly a new winter jacket,and gloves..hahaha i’m excited for it to snow. i’m over summer. come on winter i’m really excited for the snow to fall again..ahh its amazing. i hope it snows one last time in banff. that would be sweet. i also want this sprinkle burton gloves in town. all they have is large. damn hands need to grow.

omg, what a difference glasses make. i went to pick up my spanking new glasses, got a back massage, and went to the dentist. how productive. my mouth feels good since they put this filler in the back of my mouth, where my wisdom tooth was. they said i had a dry socket, which caused the pain. occurs when the blood clot at the site of a tooth extraction is disrupted prematurely. This leaves the alveolar bone unprotected and exposed to the oral environment. The socket can be packed with food and bacteria. The pain typically commences 3-4 days following the extraction. This is often extremely unpleasant for the patient, as symptoms include extreme pain (sometimes worse than the toothache that indicated the extraction),. than the dentist packed it
the socket with Alvogyl. Its fibrous consistency allows for easy filling of the socket and good adherence during the entire healing process. The active ingredients of Alvogyl include:
o eugenol for analgesic action;
o butamben for anesthetic action; and
o iodoform for anti-microbial action. (this is for you danielle & jenna)
so technically, alvogyl helps my body produce another blood clot in the socket. cool eh! i ask a million questions.
but, moving on …my glasses make me dizzy. the optometrist said it will take a week to adjust. but i can see the world and the mountains. wow the mountains are so jagged. hahaha who knew. im going for a run, i have to work soon.do you run with glasses?

I got new eyeglasses. i really like them. to describe them, they are bold and beautiful. i might get them tomorrow ^-^ YAHH i’m trying to get use of my all benefits before i leave work.
i was talking to my friend jackie and we are planning a road trip to the west coast before i come home. we are renting a car in banff, hitting up victoria, vancouver, whistle and tofino than im going to fly home. i’m not sure what to expect when i get home. i guess, i’ll be doing alot of biking and friend visiting. i just don’t want to spend money, since i’m trying to save for europe. o well, you only live once right?

I’m still confused on where I’m going. I emailed my family in greece, and so far no response. its been 2 days. I would like to go and visit my yaya. I don’t even know if she’s alive or not. i would like to go back, learn the language, and live on the greek islands for a bit. i think that would be cool, just not sure when i’ll be able to schedule that. i definitely want to do Italy, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Sweden, …omg the list will be go on and on. haha o dear.

the status of my mouth is getting a little better. my left side is still hurting, i’m trying to flush it. but i don’t think i’m doing a good job with it. if it continues to hurt, i’ll go back to the dentist. i’ll give it to Friday. my right side seems just fine to me.

ps. i found out that greyhounds ships across Canada, so i’m slowing packing my stuff . ya ya 🙂 thank-you greyhound. now, i just need to know what to ship? i have my bike and snowboard here. ugh.
